Unofficial Work Ahead!
This article lists an archetype or several archetypes below that aren't official and were mostly created by other users just for fun. None of the following examples can be considered official until mentioned in a manga/anime or another reliable source.

This is the "Unofficial" category of The Dere Types Wiki. In here we have listed all the unofficial and fanmade archetypes created in the wiki by different users.

This category was made to create fanmade dere types, gire types, combinations, and variations that don't actually exist. They can be created by any user in the wiki. The other purpose is to list new possible archetypes.

Rules

Before creating an unofficial archetype in the public articles it is necessary to get permission from an active bureaucrat or admin first. You can ask on their message wall, the talk page of this category, or a post in the discussions. If permission is not asked then the page will be deleted.

To go about creating a new unofficial archetype follow these steps:

  1. First create a base for the unofficial archetype in either your personal User Sandbox or as a personal user blog. To do this simply create a new page, locate the "Preload Template" dropdown menu located near the "Save Changes" button, and select the option "Unofficial". This will generate a blank article template for you that you can fill in with your information. You can use the page Unofficial:Bosudere as a reference.
  2. As you are filling out these sections make sure you follow the guidelines listed in the section below.
  3. Once your unofficial archetype is finished, ask a staff member if it may be published. If the unofficial type follows all of the guidelines correctly and is accepted then a staff member will move your archetype into the "Unofficial" namespace where it can then be public. If it is not accepted, then the page will stay in your personal userspace.

A single user may only request and create 2 new archetypes per month.

Guidelines

It is recommended to read through the article on Dere Types to see what makes a good unofficial type.

Naming Conventions

New unofficial archetypes must follow the "two-syllable prefix" + "dere/gire" naming convention of official dere/gire. Instead of using the entire root word, abbreviate it in a way that is easy to remember. For example: "Dandere" is used instead of "Danmaridere". If your unofficial type has more than four syllables total you will be asked to rename it.

  • Names for variations of existing dere must follow the "root word" + "word that alters the meaning" naming convention of official variations. For example: Tsunpure is used instead of "Tsunpuredere" or "Putsundere".
  • Names for combinations of existing dere must follow the "root word 1" + "root word 2" naming convention of official combinations. For example: "Tsundere" + "Bakadere" = "Tsunbaka", instead of "Tsunbakadere".

Description

New unofficial archetypes added must have all sections filled with information and in the case of dere types the romantic side must be described in the personality as well.

Characters

New unofficial archetypes must have at least 8 examples of characters from 8 different media that accurately represent the archetype. At least 4 of these characters must be from anime/manga media and at least 4 of these characters must have a love interest in the series.

  • For gire/other types no love interest is required for the examples.

Gallery

New unofficial archetypes must have at least 3 images of characters from anime/manga media that accurately represent the archetype. Having at least 7 images is preferred so the archetype can have a full gallery, but it is not required.
