"Kemono" (JP) is a term for a cute animal character who has human traits.
This is not to be confused with:
- Juujin - A hybrid humanoid animal character with the body shape of a human and the head of an animal, while also being completely covered in fur or scales.
- Kemonomimi - A human character who has animal ears.
