"Yakuza" (JP) is a term for a character who is part of a professional organized crime syndicate in Japan and engages in various large-scale illegal activities. They are characterized by their clean-cut suits which hide their colorful tattoos, which often cover their entire body.
This is not to be confused with:
- Sukeban - Female characters who are juvenile delinquents or gang members.
- Yankii - Male characters who are juvenile delinquents or gang members.
