Romaji: Ambidere is a term for a character who initially comes across as quiet and reserved, but will quickly become cheerful and show their more outgoing deredere side when approached first by their love interest. They will come across as shy, quiet, and introverted as they rarely make the first move to talk to someone else, but after speaking with them they switch to their more cheerful extroverted side. They can be quite talkative and lovey-dovey when someone approaches them first, but otherwise they just keep to themselves. The main difference between this type and dandere is they are only quiet, but not to the point of being considered a silent character and they do not necessarily hide their emotions on their face either. Additionally, they are quicker to show their emotions and deredere side than a dandere character.
