"Dandoro" (JP) is a term for a dandere character who has confused and muddied feelings towards their love interest. Although they remain silent and expressionless on the outside, on the inside they have feelings of hatred towards their love interest and may even desire to kill them. However, the reality is that they are simply confused about their true feelings and these thoughts never actually leave their head. When they inevitably realize they do actually love their love interest they will become very sweet, cute, talkative, and deredere towards them, leaving their muddied feelings behind.
