"Danredere" is a term for a dandere-like character who has a less prominent shy side and a more prominent deredere side.
Etymology
Meaning of the Term
Danredere (ダンレデレ) is a combination of "dandere, meaning "a character who is normally silent but becomes talkative around their love interest", and deredere" (デレデレ), a mimetic word for "being lovestruck".
Personality
Like dandere, danredere are usually quiet but they are less shy. A danredere acts dandere most of the time and they usually never make the first move, however, if someone else makes the first move by being nice to them they will switch to their deredere side. While a dandere will usually still act quite shy and timid while showing their deredere side at first, a danredere will immediately switch to a more outgoing and cheerful deredere side. They can be quite talkative when someone approaches them first, but otherwise they just keep to themselves.
