"Eiyuucon" is a term for a character who has a hero complex and has a psychological need for validation as a hero. They are someone who desperately seeks recognition for their heroism. They may also have an exaggerated sense of self-worth and arrogance, take credit for others' work, or even actively create bad situations just so they can fix them later and take credit solving the problem they caused.
Etymology
Meaning of the Term
Eiyuucon (英雄コン) is a combination of "eiyuu" (英雄), meaning "hero", and "complex" (コンプレックス), meaning "repressed desires that exert a dominating influence upon someone's personality". It refers to someone who has a psychological need for validation and recognition as a hero.
The term "hero complex", or "savior complex", is a psychological condition that causes people to seek recognition for heroism. People with a hero complex may have an exaggerated sense of self-worth, take credit for others' work, or even actively create situations that harm others just so they can fix them later. For example, someone with a hero complex may create a desperate situation that they can resolve and then receive accolades for it.

They try to act like heroes and badly desire to be recognized as one, but can sometimes also be arrogant and begin to act un-herolike instead because of it. They will try to do heroic things, like try to save someone, but they will most likely mess things up. They are very arrogant and haughty. For example, someone with a hero complex may create a desperate situation that they can resolve and then receive accolades for it.
Differences From Other Archetypes
They are somewhat similar to kamidere (Western) in that they have a need for recognition, but the difference is they want to be recognized as a hero rather than a god. There is also no requirement for them to lose their personality complex and adopt a selfish and loving deredere side.
