"Hokodere" is a term for a character who is excessively proud of their relationship and love interest to the point they show it off and act excessively deredere with them everywhere. They are so in love and happy with their relationship that they will comment on their relationship all day long. They are not afraid or ashamed to show their love for their love interest, acting lovey-dovey on any occasion and lovingly embracing them in front of everyone to an excessive level, often times to the awkwardness of onlookers.
