"Yanheat" (JP) is a term for a sunao heat or mega deredere character that has traits of a harmless-type yandere character. They are very lovey-dovey and constantly shower their love interest with affection, but have an obsessive love that goes beyond normal boundaries and they have a tendency to stalk their love interest or steal their belongings. They are mostly just harmless obsessive lovers and aside from their inability to respect boundaries they are otherwise completely harmless. Instead, they do exaggerated things to show their affection to their love interest in a heated manner like a sunao heat, such as praying to them, cooking for them every day, giving them lots of gifts and love letters, stalking them, and stealing their items.
Etymology
Meaning of the Term
Yanheat (ヤンヒート) is a combination of "yandere" (ヤンデレ), meaning "a character whose love, admiration, and devotion is so strong that it is expressed as an excessive obsession", and "sunao heat" (素直ヒート), meaning "a character who has a fiery passion for love and will not be afraid to give their love interest large displays of affection and tell them how much they love them."
Personality
Yanheat are obsessed with their love interest like a yandere, but do not harm people for getting near their love interest. Instead, they do exaggerated things to show their affection to their love interest in a cheerful manner like a sunao heat, such as praying to them, cooking for them every day, giving them lots of gifts and love letters, stalking them, and stealing their items.
While a yanheat can have multiple friends, they will direct their kindness and affection only towards their love interest. Yanheat are always concerned about their love interest, whether they are feeling well or not.
Differences From Other Archetypes
They are obsessive, but not the "dark" kind of obsessive. They aren't violent toward people who get close to their love interest, and some may even respect their love interest's freedom to interact with others close to them. It can be viewed as either an always lovey-dovey version of yandere or as a more crazy and obsessive version of a mega deredere. Yeredere act like the harmless-type yandere but do not possess the mental illness.
