"Kamidere (Western)" is a term for a character who sees themself as a god and at first wants to be worshipped by their love interest, but eventually adopts a cute, selfless, and affectionate deredere side towards their love interest. Their god complex makes them self-centered and arrogant towards those they see as inferior to them and and that are not deserving of their time. They will demand to be treated like the perfect being they think they are, but will eventually drop the ego and show a more respectful, selfless, and loving side towards their love interest.
